Erin's week

Erin and I are still trying to recover from our cold. She is almost back to normal, but continues to swim in a sea of snot and throws a fit when I try to clean her up. She is also still not napping well and now is starting to get a tad cranky because of it. We're slowly adjusting back to Minnesota time and hopefully that will help. All in all, though, she's happy most of the time. Yesterday I gave her a bucket with a few blocks in it and she thought it was the best toy ever. She proudly carried around the bucket all afternoon, shaking it and laughing. I love cheap toys.

She also still loves to play "so big" especially while eating and getting her diaper changed. Erin also started dancing yesterday. We often listen to Soul/Motown music in the afternoon and Erin's started groovin to the music. Her dancing is painfully off beat and consists mainly of knee bends and drooling, but it is so cute.

Matt is home today and we're having a great day. Erin got to read books with Dad, it's sunny feeling very springy outside and we're going out to lunch at the Birchwood. Who could ask for a better day.
